Services personalization is on the rise. And regardless of whether driven by Subscriber Data Management (SDM) or Customer Experience Management (CEM), one of the key requirements that network operators must consider in the personalization journey is identity management.
This has two perspectives: the customer-facing tools required to safeguard subscriber identity, and the process and product capabilities necessary to facilitate sharing of data amongst third parties. While network operators are working through the challenges, new architectures, including the move to cloud computing, demand new approaches.
