Without question, video represents the most important form of traffic on mobile networks today. However, it is also the largest consumer of network bandwidth and spectrum resources and can disrupt monetization business models. As a result, creation of a content management strategy is crucial to avoid the negative financial impact inherent with unmanaged content. However, to be most effective, such a strategy requires implementing and integrating control mechanisms on several network levels to capture interactions between optimization and policy engines, the RAN, end user video devices and exposure of content to third parties.
Accordingly, in this webinar we will consider design and implementation considerations, including the implication of policy control, and services use cases that mobile operators must consider in the delivery of a truly optimized premium video customer experience.
